An Indian silver openwork betel box, 950 silver Xray tested, 19th century the spherical box with a flat base, finely repousse and chased with pierced trailing foliage and scrolls accented with raised flower heads, surmounted with a bid finial, and with a band around the middle, probably a betel nut box or perhaps a bezoar-stone holder, unmarked.
