A Chinese cloisonne dragon bowl on stand, late Republic Period (1912-1949) the float bowl of squat form with inverted rim, decorated to the interior with a dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl above a rocky outcrop and turbulent waves, similarly decorated to exterior with two contesting dragons, in polychrome enamels against a predominantly black ground of wirework clouds, on a carved and pierced wooden stand, height 6 cm, diameter: 20 cm
