William Norrie antique New Zealand timber box, totara, puriri, mottled kauri, kohekohe, rewarewa, maire and others, late 19th century. Fitted with two lift out trays adorned with original blue velvet lining. Norrie was one of New Zealand's most successful box makers operating out of Shortland Street, Auckland and was awarded a medal for excellence at the Sydney International Exhibition, 1879. 21 cm high, 42.5 cm wide, 23 cm deep
