A Sevres porcelain ovoid vase and cover, blue interlaced L mark with date letter a for 1753, painter's mark X for Jacques-Francois Micaud (fl.1757-1800+) the 'Bleu celeste' ground with shaped oval reserves painted with flowers and fruit within gilt flower and scroll borders, the shaped domed cover with flower head finial, the foot with a band of gilt flowers, height 10.5 cm. Other Notes: the shape of this lot is similar to the pot pourri 'Vase Pompadour' but lacks its pierced openings.
