A Chinese purple splashed Junyao bowl, possibly Yuan Dynasty, the tapering stoneware bowl raised on a small circular foot, of typical decoration with a purple copper splash to a blue glazed ground thinning to an olive tone around the rim, the thick exterior glaze coagulating shy of the base, with crackles and firing grit marks. Height 8 cm, diameter 18 cm
