French gold consular cased, verge pocket watch by Baillon a Paris, c.1790, 48 mm case, marked with maker's stamp ML over R. Back cover and front bezel with basket weave pattern and wavy border. White enamel dial with some chips, black Roman hour chapters, outer five minute Arabic numerals, gold Louis XV hands.
