An ivory figure of Shoulao, late Qing, early 20th century the standing immortal carved from the curved tusk, holding a branch of peach tree in his left hand, his long staff in the other hand, wearing long robes falling to the ground in soft pleats, his bearded face with a serene expression and calm smile, with a young boy to his side, all raised on a circular base, with maker's mark 'Tao Qian' to the underside. Height 26 cm
