A large Maori pre-European toki (adze) together with a wooden haft, the stone tapered toki broken and glued, length 27.5 cm. The carved wooden curved shaft haft with lashing groove to the broad head, length 80.5 cm. Vendor's provenance: 'Was gifted by local Maori in the area of Marsden cross'.
