A French black marble mantel clock, circa 1900, the works marked 'Samuel Marti/Medaille D'or Paris 1900', bell striking, the Arabic numeral dial within a case of classical architectural form with domed top and final, flanked by tempietti of open semi-circular form and raised on a rectangular plinth, the movement with eagle trademark stamped FM (Friedrich Mauthe), with pendulum.
