An impressive Victorian burr walnut Gillows style bookcase, 19th century, the extended breakfront cornice with a carved frieze of holly branches, a single glazed door flanked by fluted Corinthian pilasters above an extended section with edge mouldings and a well figured burr walnut panelled door with matching pilasters to the sides, opening to shelves and a bottom drawer, upon a breakfront plinth base, the locks stamped 'Hobbs & Sons London', with key, height 298 cm, width 123 cm, depth 53 cm
