A French spelter figure of Bacchante mounted as a table lamp, the tall figure of the classical goddess with outstretched hands, one holding the torch fitted with a flame frosted glass shade, the other holding a bowl, standing with an eagle behind her, raised on an ebonised circular stand with applied brass plate inscribed 'Bacchante', bearing a Fabrication francaise stamp to the reverse. Height 81.5 cm
