A large French silver tray, maker's mark of Louis Manant (Paris, c1830), with London Assay Office 925 Import Mark. Shaped rectangular with rounded corners and beaded rim supporting plain loop handles, the top engraved with a subtle spiral border with floral knots to the corners, the centre with monogram ASC in a classical cartouche against a ground of dots covering the entire surface, silver and import marks to the underside.
