A fine sterling silver tea kettle and stand, 1929 Sheffield with maker's mark for Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall). Decorated in the Art Nouveau style with raised tendrils motifs and shaped border to the compressed ovoid body, the raised handle with wooden grip, hinged lid with wooden finial, on conforming oval stand with pierced gallery on curvaceous legs, with removable central spirit lamp and lock-in pins, the pot with engraved presentation mark dated 1931 to front.
