Depicting a tanuki or Japanese racoon dog lying down, typically represented with a large stomach and equally large bottle of sake by his side, with fine engraving details to his face and tail, the ivory with good patination, the underside with himatoshi and two-character engraved signature, height 3 cm, width 5.5 cm
