Depicting 'Les Fauvettes' after Fran ois Moreau, the romantic cold painted figure of a young maiden in diaphanous robes and a songbird, seated upon a plinth set with a drum cased Arabic enamel dial, the 8 Day signed F. Marti, raised on a D-shaped rouge marble base, and a pair of cherub-encrusted urn shaped foliate vases on rouge marble circular spreading bases, with key and pendulum, height 48.5 cm (clock), height 34.5 cm (urn)
