A magnificent Imperial Russian silver-gilt, gold plated and enamelled magnifying glass, in original satin-lined case. The enamelled handle set with small diamond roses and garnet cabochons. Hallmarked '84' and 'A*H' for Faberge Workmaster August Frederik Hollming (born in Finland, 1854; settled in St. Petersburg 1876, becoming a Faberge workmaster in 1880). 27.5 cm long; the case 31 x 14 cm.
