An antique Russian Orthodox oklad painted icon of a Saint, 19th century -, the icon of a saint on horseback with an openwork floral and strap-work gilt copper border, the repousse brass riza with liturgical vestments and silvered halo revealing the saint's painted face and hands, his name engraved in Cyrillic at the bottom, housed in a wooden shadow frame and later in a perspex case to protect it from further damage to the border.
