A rare Qingbai octagonal 'Prunus' vase, Meiping, Southern Song-Yuan Dynasty, 13th century of conforming octagonal shape and each facet is relief moulded with a prunus spray. The glaze of pale blue tone, 21 cm high. Provenance: acquired in Indonesia in the early 80s, and thence by descent. A private collection, Geelong, Australia.
