A Regency style gilt metal and cut crystal comport. Loevsky and Loevsky, new jersey, circa 1940-1950 the oval cut crystal comport with pear branches decoration, supported on a gilded cast column flanked by two crouching cherubs facing each other with their arms outstretched, raised on an ornate rectangular with fret on chamfered edge and shell medallions, maker's mark L&L and model number 6710 to the underside. Height 31.5 cm, length 26 cm, width 14 cm
