Two Victorian mother-of-pearl and abalone shell visiting card cases, late 19th century. The rectangular hinged cases with press button release mechanism revealing ivory tipped edges and original velvet lined interiors, one decorated with a diamond motif in mother-of-pearl and abalone shell tiles, the other diagonally set with tortoise and abalone shell tiles. Length 10.5 cm, width 8 cm
