A Bronze Big Pilot Spitfire Grand Date watch, IWC. Circa 2020. Reference IW510506. 'Mission Accomplished'. 46 mm bronze case with bronze conical 'onion' crown and titanium caseback. Mechanical manual winding 59235 calibre, 8-day power reserve, indicator visable through caseback window. Matte grained olive green dial ' printed markers and Arabic numerals, white and beige Super-LumiNova ' gold-coloured hands with Large Double digit date display. Brown leather strap with bronze pin buckle closure. Dial signed. Box and paperwork. This watch was a limited edition released in 2020 to celebrate a round the world flight of a restored chrome spitfire by the boultbee flight school in the UK. IWC were the principal sponsor, this watch was a limited run of 500pcs. *please note due to this watch being bronze, the metal has started to oxidise and darken, please see all images.
