[William Albert Stanley Oldfield served in World War I as a Corporal in the AIF 15th field ambulance and played in a series of first-class matches in Britain, South Africa and Australia after the war as a member of the AIF eleven; he played 54 Tests for Australia as wicket-keeper between 1920-1937 including the infamous Bodyline series, in which he suffered a fractured skull; his Sydney sports store opened in 1922]
