Pair of 18ct gold and shell earrings, David Webb, circa 1965, each snail shell is accented at intervals with gold lozenges, approximately 25 x 20 mm, signed Webb, French assay marks, clip fittings. Literature, John Culme and Nicholas Rayner, the jewels of the Duchess of Windsor, the Vendome press, New York, in association with Sotheby's, 1987, p. 194 (illustrated, other examples owned by the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson (1896-1986)).
