A 19th century giltwood harp by Johann Andreas Stumpff (1769-1846), seven pedals, fluted column, acanthus leaf detail, the brass plate with maker's name and London address. Satin birch frame with gilded highlights, some later refurbishment. Height 174 cm. Provenance: The estate collection of Prof. G. Dawson, Auckland. Purchased Cordy's December 1997.
