Small Wunda shield, Kimberley Region, Western Australia, carved and engraved hardwood and natural pigment (with custom stand) this wunda shield is elongated ovoid form, the front decorated with fluted linear designs divided into three sections to form a zig-zag motif infilled alternately with black and white earth pigments, the reverse with fine fluted linear engraving and raised loop handle.
