A good French 19th century ormolu and porcelain three-piece clock garniture, the hand painted face and panels with figures and landscapes on a purple and puce toned ground highlighted with gilding and enamel jewelling, the urn garnitures with conforming decoration. The bell striking movement stamped 'Japy Freres & Cie'. Height 43 cm. Provenance: The estate collection of Prof. G. Dawson.
