A Victorian sterling silver hunting themed tankard, by Joseph Rogers, Sheffield, circa 1852, of cylindrical form, the subtly domed hinged lid with leaf formed thumb piece, incorporating a tusk handle, and to the lower body an embossed band depicting a hunting scene. Stamped 1 pint to base. 406gms sterling silver (including tusk), 15.5 cm high, 16.5 cm wide (spout to handle)
