1878 1st Australian Team To England: Original scorebook of the Hastings & St.Leonards Cricket Club for 1878 & 1879, which includes the original scorer's records for Hastings & District v Australians at Hastings on 26th-28th August 1878. A remarkable match - Australia's Tom Garrett completed a hat-trick in the Hastings and District first innings (victims: Cunliffe, Leslie, Howis); and Frederick Spofforth completed a hat-trick in the Hastings and District second innings (victims: Cunliffe, J Phillips, Wilson).
