An uncommon folio 'The practical Decorator and Ornamentist for the Use of architects, practical Painters, Decorators, and Designers', by George Ashdown Audsley and Maurice Ashdown Audsley, published by Blackie & Son, Ltd, Glasgow (1892). Folio of blue boards, now loose enclosing various chromolithographs (some enhanced with gilt), accompanied descriptive notices, possibly some absent. Victorian design, with plates large enough to frame. Includes Renaissance, mediaeval, oriental and Gothic patterns and motifs showing influence of Ruskin and the Arts & Crafts movement.
