An antique French tortoiseshell sedan chair perfume and jewellery casket, second half 19th century, the finely crafted 'Sedan chair' with a domed lid and leaf and knop finial, with beaded brass mounts, applied leafy decorations, and raised on leafy cabriole legs, the hinged dome lid enclosing a small compartment, and hinged drop front 'Doors' supporting individual scent bottle holders, lined throughout with watermelon coloured moire silk, height 22 cm
