A Victorian Aesthetic cabinet by Gillow & Co., 1879, embossed stamp of Gillow & Co, numbered 8150, the ebonised display cabinet with an arched mirrored back centred with a mask medallion, quarter circle open compartments to the sides, an open central compartment and cupboard, decorated throughout with burr walnut panels, gold painted and patterned trims, and exquisitely painted panels of trophy motifs in shades of Prussian blue green upon gold leaf, the shelves lined with complementary velvet, stamped Gillow & Co to door, height 172 cm, width 123 cm, depth 40 cm
