A rare Korean palanquin (Uija Gama), box construction in elm with slatted base and railings along both sides, original iron mounts including rings and square section openings for carrying poles which would have been borne by four carriers. Late Joseon Dynasty, 19th century, 32 cm high, 65 cm wide, 99 cm deep.
