A George IV neoclassical sterling silver & crystal centrepiece, 1827 London, with maker's mark for William Bateman II, a dish with egg and dart borders supporting a heavy gauge fan cut crystal bowl (rivet repairs), a knopped stem decorated with acanthus leaves above a concave base on cast feet, inscription from John & Harriet Le Couteur (Col. Le Couteur was aide-de-camp for jersey for William IV and Queen Victoria), silver weight 1648gr height 35 cm, diameter 27.5 cm
