An impressive cut brass, French large scale bracket clock, mid 19th century having infill enamel and mother of pearl decoration the interior with a checker board pattern. The brass contrasting against dark timber. The four supporting pillars depicting female figures. The dial with individual panels having blue painted Roman numerals and blue steel hands. Rings a bell. The front and two sides glazed engraved on the back of the movement. 'Le Faucheur Paris' surmounted by a figure of a youth holding a scythe. Comes with a matching wall bracket of the same manufacture. Having a rare and unusual rococo style dragon as the main feature on the front. Total height 93 cm, plus bracket height 38 cm
