Small Kiwi Feather Kete c. 1880 with a row of the blue/black feathers (probably Tui) around rim. Twined muka handles. Length 13 cm. Width 13 cm. Y13761. Provenance: Handed to the Cavan County Museum, Ireland before 1900, the kete was decommissioned in 1997 when the museum decided to retain only items relating to their county. The funds from the sale of the kete were put towards their new lighting system
