Description: Late 18th/Early 19th Century Contact-period Hei Tiki pre 1840. Head tilted to the right, both hands on hips, heart shaped mouth, chevron carved to belly denoting ribs. Polished all over. Cratered suspension hole to reverse (not evident from front), with 2nd suspension hole also evident, but broken away. Length 9.6 cm. Y13673
