A sterling silver William IV cast platter in the rococo style, 1836 London, with maker's mark for William Bateman II, the heavy gauge oval platter finely chased and moulded with gadroons, shell and acanthus forms, with four engraved crests to the rims, crisply hallmarked underside and also marked Rundell bridge et Co, Aurifices Regis Londini, silver weight 1712 gr, length 42 cm, width 31 cm.
