A large European walnut veneer bombe commode, 18th century, probably north Italian, the three drawer commode with well figured veneer throughout inlaid with strung cross-banded ribbon designs, having the original escutcheons and locks, solid wood construction with rough hewn drawer sides and plank back, with a shaped apron and splayed legs, height 93 cm, width 122 cm, depth 61 cm.
