A fine pair of vintage Chinese ivory male and female figures, Zheng Chenggong, Prince of Yanping and his Wife, mid 20th century, with timber stands bearing Qianlong inscriptions, the pair of Chinese national heroes, he in an antique woven costume with an elaborate head dress and holding an edict, she in draping attire holding a wrapped parcel, both finely engraved and inked and raised on double lotus bases, height 29 cm.
