George I walnut long case clock, by William sellers, London, early 18th century, the case with stepped and moulded flat top hood with glazed rectangular side panels and brass-capped front pilasters, the rectangular trunk with single panelled door, on plinth base, the silvered and gilded brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date, signed 'W sellers London', inward countwheel strike, with pendulum and weights, height 210 cm width 47 cm depth 24 cm.
