A Restauration bronze figural clock, circa 1820s, with maker's mark for Legras Et Cie, Paris, with key, the dial with Roman numerals enclosed by an engine turned bezel and set into a rocky base surmounted by the imposing figure of the club bearing Hercules dressed in Nemean lion skin and carrying a maiden, raised on a gilded plinth with acanthus leaf decorations, the base supported on entwined serpents, height 57 cm, width 35.5 cm, depth 13.5 cm
