A silverplated ladies powder compact of nautical interest, in the form of a captain's peaked cap, engraved 'M.V. Wanganella' around a map of Australia with crossed anchors, the cap badge with the flag of the Huddart Parker liner, mirror to interior, diameter 7 cm. Other Notes: the Huddart Parker liner T.S.M.V. Wanganella cruised the Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland routes, memorably before the Melbourne Olympics in 1956.
