A Chinese Jianyao conical tea bowl, Northern Song Dynasty (960-1125), of conical form, covered in a rich black glaze, thinning to matt brown at the rim, exhibiting the beginnings of hare's fur rim streaking from the rim, the exposed biscuit of deep brown colour. 6.5 cm high, 12 cm diameter. No visible faults or damage, approximately 232 gm weight.
