A Japanese Kyoyaki modernist vase by Teraike Tosshu II (1933-), Showa period (1926-1989), 1962-1963, decorated with abstracted mountains in underglaze copper red. Marked 'Tosshu zo' to the base in underglaze blue. Together with tomobako (original signed wooden box), and an original exhibition pamphlet from Takashimaya gallery. 21.5 cm high, 20.5 cm diameter, Exhibitions: Exhibited Teraike Tosshu II solo exhibition of new ceramic works, Takashimaya Department Store gallery, Kyobashi, Tokyo, 2 to 8 July, 1963.
