A fine antique amboyna and ebony cabinet by James Shoolbred & Co, circa 1870 London, with maker's plaque to rear of cabinet, of elegant neoclassical proportions with a concave cornice above a single, door with delicate Sheraton style inlay and flanked by Corinthian columns, raised on tapering square section legs, with gilt bronze trims, simply and boldly, decorated throughout with contrasting timbers, height 129 cm, width 65 cm, depth 42 cm
