A rare Minton pate sur pate pilgrim shape vase olive ground with crimson ground in reserve panel, depicting two cupids playing framed in an oval floral cartouche. Reverse: spray of oak leaves and acorns with a saddle bag and an arrow passing through the scene. Unusual gilt and silver mounts to foot, handles and neck. Attributed to Alboine Birks, mark: shape and date code, gilt Minton's globe and crown mark, circa 1885. Height 26 cm,
