A good George III 18th century mahogany inlaid fall front bureau, an elegant piece with four drawers below a fall front, the interior fitted with drawers, shelves and a cupboard and a green baize writing slope. The exterior in fine mahogany veneers crossbanded and inlaid with exotic timbers including rosewood with ebony and satinwood stringing. The front inlaid with a large Sheraton type oval medallion. The diamond shaped escuteons in ivory. The whole on bracket feet. England, circa 1780. 95.5 x 49 x 110 cm
