19th century or earlier Tibetan copper-bronze Buddhist statue of Yama Dharmaraja the guardian deity confronting death, wearing a bull mask beside his consort, standing upon the back of a bull copulating with a woman. All upon a lobed base with flaming mandala behind. Remnants of gilt and painted highlights. Some repair, height 51 cm
