A vintage sapphire and diamond dress ring, 18ct white gold and platinum, made as a marquise shaped dress ring, set with central cushion cut sapphire of medium blue colour with violet overtones, weighing approximately 2.80ct, claw set in a pierced frame, surrounded to outer of frame with a scalloped edge of smaller brilliant cut diamonds and single larger bezel set diamonds between each scallop, totalling, approximately 0.24ct, set to a fine band.
