A large antique pietra dura brooch, 14ct yellow gold, possibly Italian, presented as a large oval shape plaque, brooch, featuring a black polished panel of onyx, finely inlaid with a foliate depiction made up of small pieces of hardstone, turquoise, coral, agate and nephrite, bezel set in a gold backed frame, surrounded by a fancy, scalloped gold outer, fitted with pin, engraved to reverse.
